Jayang Jhaveri is an articulate, multi-lingual, and versatile professional with three decades of solid international experience in a wide variety of industries.

At Cognus, he advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, banking, information technology, e-commerce, media, entertainment, natural resources, luxury retail, manufacturing and non-profits.  

 

Clients included companies such as HSBC and National Semiconductor. Prior to Cognus, he was a consultant with HSBC Private Bank in London and Geneva. He was the co-founder and Chief Information Officer of OneAsia.com, an online retailer of Asian music and movies that was acquired in 2000 by Tom.com, a company controlled by tycoon Li Ka Shing.

Jayang serves as Chair of South Asian Arts Academy, a Hong Kong-based non-profit that promotes education and awareness of South Asian music. He also served on the International Alumni Council of London Business School from 2009-2012. He is also a regular broadcaster on RTHK Radio 3 on subjects ranging from entrepreneurship to fine music.

Jayang holds an MBA from London Business School, and a B. Bus (Information Systems) from University of Southern Queensland (Australia).
